The majority of the book of Acts, along with his epistles give us a picture of PaulТs life as he travels throughout the Roman Empire preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ, establishing churches and raising up leaders to carry on the work. As the first missionary Paul becomes a model for future generations of missionaries. Here in 2 Corinthians the missionary life of the Apostle is seen more clearly than in any of the other epistles, here also the missionary heart of the Apostle, full of passion for the Savior and compassion for men, is laid bare.
